What products do you have available at the market?
Our farm products will include: arugula, spinach, bok choy, lettuce mix, kale, French breakfast radish, red meat radish, purple radish, carrots, white beets, candy striped beets, gold beets, red beets, snack peppers, patty pan squash, okra, jalapeno peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, butternut squash, an assortment of pumpkin types (all edible, some baking, some roasting), gold husk cherry, Cherokee purple tomatoes, Roma tomatoes, Holl-Way tomatoes (heirloom small orange tomato from Graham County), edible flowers, herbs, gourds, onions, garlic blueberries, blackberries, black raspberries and depending on how they fruit this year and the last frost: apples, pears, and peaches. Fresh eggs from free-range hens, about 5-8 dozen a week.
We plan on providing season salts, seasoning packets, and infused oils using our own herbs.
We also will provide poultry to the market.
Describe your production practices.
We follow organic and biodynamic farming practices. We use organic NON-GMO seed when available (mostly available), and we don’t use pesticides or herbicides. We use companion planting as a means of pest reduction and as a way to increase our naturally occurring pollinators.
