We’re back! First Market April 15

After a long winter, our farmers and vendors are eager to get back to the market, so we’re opening a little earlier than usual. Our first market will be this Saturday, April 15! Stop by to reconnect with your favorite vendors, meet new ones, and meet our new market managers Casey McCully and Andy Mrak! We’ll have greens, plant starts, meats, baked goods and more! We can’t wait to see you!

Volunteers Needed

Love Haywood’s Historic Farmers Market? Want to be more involved with local food and farms in your community? Have you considered volunteering for the market?

We could absolutely use your help!

Some of the market activities that we need volunteers for:

  • Parking attendant
  • Kid’s Market Booth
  • Music at market
  • Writing content for our newsletter, website, or local news papers.
  • Flyering
  • Event organization
  • Tabling at events
  • And much more!

SNAP/EBT Accepted!

We are proud to be a farmers market that accepts SNAP/EBT! You can use any leftover tokens you may have from last year or just stop by the market manager’s booth to get new SNAP/EBT tokens.

How does it work?

  1. Stop by the market manager’s booth (first booth on the right as you enter the market).
  2. Swipe your SNAP/EBT card for the amount you wish to spend at market.
  3. $1 tokens are provided for the amount you want. These tokens do not expire.
  4. Spend the tokens with the farms and other vendors that have SNAP/EBT eligible products. Keep in mind, no change is given for SNAP/EBT tokens.
  5. Enjoy fresh, local, and healthy food!
